3. If your reapirs are over $1,000, you are responsible by law to fill out an accident report. We have the accident report formas available for you at our shop.

"Do I have to get more than one estimate?"

No, you don't. There is no law in the state of Oregon that says you have to get more than one estimate. If an insurance company asks you to get more than one, explain to them that you would prefer to work with Reedville body & Paint Co. If they need more than one estimate, they can have one of their own appraisers or independent appraiser take a look at your vehicle. All this should be done at your convenience and choice of location either your work, home, our shop.

We can repair your vehicle according to their approved estimate and contact them directly if any additional estimates are needed. This also applys to out of state insurance companies also.

"May I take my vehicle where I want to have it repaired?"

Yes, you can. As long as the facility of you choice agrees to repair the vehicle.

Most insurance companies have shops they work with on a regular basis and receive a discounted rate. You do not have to agree to work with the shop they recommend. Even if the insurance company says it will cost you extra if your take it somewhere else.
